Here Am I, Send Me

Isaiah heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send and who will go for us?” And I can see Isaiah holding up his hand and saying, “Here am I; send me.”
The definition of a volunteer is someone who freely offers to undertake a task. A volunteer is an unpaid worker, unpaid helper, or an unpaid assistant. They freely give their time and labor without compensation. Volunteers are the ones who faithfully plug along behind the scenes and out of the spotlight. They’re the faithful ones that can be counted on week in and week out. The church has its great evangelists, pastors, and leaders but if the work of the church is to be done, it will be the "ordinary" Christians, the privates, who step up and volunteer.
