The Misery of Sin

The sins of God's people are the heaviest burden they can possibly bear in this life. To know God and to experience His forgiveness is beyond words. But then sin is always lurking at the door and Satan is always looking for a place to get in. When sin breaks the union and fellowship with God it is beyond misery. Trying to get back to the place to where you once were with the Lord is very difficult. David’s heart was broken over his sin and he was in misery. Every misery in this life is the result of sin. The fall of man brought every kind of misery to us and to this world. Because of sin, we lost communion with God.
