The Man Who Had Everything & Nothing

The Pharisees loved money, and when they heard the teaching of Jesus, they scoffed, sneered, and mocked Him. One version says they turned up their nose at Jesus and wrote Him off. They justified themselves and they had the bank balance to prove it. Money often becomes a god and a driving force in people’s lives. We are stewards of what God has blessed us with and we must never forget that all things belong to God. If your money is not under the Lordship of Christ, then Christ is not Lord of all. 

Life was all about the rich man! He couldn’t spare the time or a crumb for a beggar at his gate. He was a man who had everything and nothing!
