Wars & Rumors of Wars

Nov 12, 2023    Bishop Rick D Brackett

Exodus 15:3 was a verse sung by the Jewish people. Moses and the children of Israel sang this song unto the Lord on the 7th day of Passover. It was after they crossed the Red Sea, and after God drowned the Egyptian Army in that sea that they sang…

3 The Lord is a man of war: the Lord is his name.

In every situation of war, God has given victory to the Jewish people, and they’ve been able to sing this song.

•Arab–Israeli War of 1948, a war of Independence when Israel became recognized as a nation.

•Six-Day War of 1967

•Yom Kippur War of 1973

Jews make up just 2 percent of the U.S. population and only 0.2 percent of the world’s population, yet they are the No. 1 target of anti-religious hate crimes. October 7th was the deadliest day for the Jewish people since the Holocaust. The mass murder of civilians brought back painful memories of the genocide of the Jewish people by the Nazis and their allies.

But this hatred of Jews is nothing new and has existed for thousands of years.
