Don't Leave the Battlefield

We all have giants to face that stand in the way of our spiritual lives. We face giants that threaten our families, relationships, health, work, finances, and our emotional well-being. A giant is anything that is bigger than we are. Israel had been in a standoff against the Philistines for 40 days. In the Bible, 40 is the number for testing.

Jesus was tested in the wilderness for 40 days. Moses and Israel were tested for 40 years. It might be 40 days or just 10 days, but testing times will come. When they do come God doesn’t want us to leave the battlefield. Neither does He want us to become a door mat for the enemy and allow him to run over us.
